Sandra "Sandy" J. Rose, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, in her hometown of Lorain, Ohio. Born on October 25, 1956, in the same close-knit community she adored, Sandy's radiant smile and generous spirit became a staple throughout her 67 years of life.
A proud graduate and licensed cosmetologist since 1979, Sandy poured her creativity and passion into her profession. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to open the doors of Cuttin' It Close. Her dedication to her craft and her clients went beyond mere hairstyling; she fostered a welcoming atmosphere where laughter and stories were shared as freely as her expert hair care advice.
Sandy's zest for life extended well beyond her business. She was a woman who cherished the simple pleasures. Her love for spending time with family, especially the children who brightened her days, was unmatched. Sandy's presence at family gatherings was a guarantee of joy and merriment, her laughter ringing out as a soundtrack to many cherished memories.
An avid shopper, Sandy took delight in finding the perfect gifts for her loved ones, a testament to her thoughtfulness and generosity. Her love for Christmas was evident in her annual tradition of watching holiday movies; her infectious spirit made every viewing feel like the first. The twinkle of Christmas lights was only matched by the sparkle in Sandy's eyes during her favorite season.
Sandy's enthusiasm for life was paralleled by her dedication as a fan of the Cleveland Browns. Through victories and challenges, she remained steadfast in her support, her loyalty as unwavering as her optimism. In quieter moments, she found solace in her crafts, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her artistry and attention to detail.
Sandra Rose was a beacon of love and kindness, her impact on her community indelible. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to know her. As we remember Sandy, we celebrate a life lived with passion, a heart given freely to others, and a journey that, while cut short, was lived to the fullest.
