Ronald L. Sines, 74, of Lorain, passed away Friday, August 21, 2026 with his loving family by his side.

Ron was born in Alliance, Ohio on February 12,1952, to his parents, Ray James and Margaret Alice (nee Hickman) Sines. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Sines, on August 20, 1994. Ron worked for Comprehensive Logistics as a truck driver. He enjoyed playing golf and shooting guns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Margaret Sines; son, Danny Sines; sisters, Delores Sines, Bonnie Anthony, Dorothy Brasdovich, Florence Beres, Lillian Robertson, and Pat Smith; and brothers, Mike and Jack Sines.

He is survived by his wife, Mary E. Sines; sons, Ronald H., Shannon, Hamilton, and Brian Sines; stepdaughters, Teressa E. and Debbie A. Renner; stepson, Rodney V. Jones; sisters; Joann Prus, Linda Polinkay, Rhonda Binion, Connie Hughes, Donna Davis, Nancy Anderson, and Rea Palos; and brothers, Bill, Dewey, and Terry Sines.

The family will receive friends in Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, Ohio on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. with Pastor Alan Jenkins officiating.
