We come together to remember and celebrate the life of Ronald Lee Carson, known affectionately as Ron, who was born on July 12, 1970, in Medina, OH, a resident of Vermilion, and passed away on May 29, 2025. Ron was a beacon of light in the lives of those fortunate enough to know him, embodying resilience and courage in every step he took. His spirit was free, his laughter was a melody, and his presence was warm and powerful.

Ron was a man of many talents. He spent 35 years in the carpentry and construction sector, earning recognition for his exceptional skills and dedication. His leadership and management of a major construction project in Cleveland did not go unnoticed, as he was commended by the City for his contributions. Ron was not just a talented carpenter, he was an artist, creating beautiful pieces of work with his own two hands through his business, Carson Custom Carpentry. But his true passion lay in the simple act of creating something from nothing, a testament to his resilience.

Outside of his work, Ron was a man of many interests. He enjoyed everything from classic muscle cars to motorcycles, and he had a deep appreciation for good music and food. He was particularly fond of blues and country music. Ron's love for life was evident in the joy he took in spending time with his friends and family. But what mattered most to him were his two sons, Marc and Dylan, who were his pride and joy.

Ron is survived by his sons, Marc and Dylan Carson; sister, Roberta Carson Plumley; brother, Robert Carson; along with his twelve nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Duke and Mary (nee Bowling) Carson.

Ron was a loving brother, a devoted father, and a friend to many. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 27 at 4:00 PM at the Vermilion Country Club
