Roberta “Bobbi” Smith

Elyria - Roberta Louise “Bobbi” Buckley Smith, 78, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 in Williamsport, PA.

Bobbi was born on November 6, 1947 in Lorain, OH where she was a long time resident. She was a graduate of Admiral King High School. She married Timothy Smith on April 14, 2018. Bobbi retired as a Deputy Clerk at Elyria Clerk of Courts. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Parish and Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed going out to lunch with friends and tour trips with church groups, tending to her garden, and watching the Cleveland Indians/Guardians and Browns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard E. and Kathleen M. (nee Martin) Buckley; husband, Timothy Smith; half sisters, Annetta Buckley and Geraldine Milovich; niece, Jennifer Buckley; and nephew, Jimmy Buckley.

She is survived by her brothers, James R. (Barb) Buckley and William E. (Lynda) Buckley; many loving nieces and nephews; many great grand nieces and nephews; and many loving neighbors and friends.

The family will receive friends at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Parish, 2143 Homewood Dr, Lorain, OH on Monday, June 22, 2026 from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM with Fr. Neil Walters, Pastor, officiating. Christian Burial services will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
