Mary C. Indre, 65, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at home peacefully with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Lorain, OH to her loving parents, Benedito L. and Theresa R. (nee Sestili) Johns, on May 24, 1958. Mary was a graduate of Southview High School in Lorain, Class of 1976. She married the love of her life, Larry Indre on June 30, 1984 and together they raised their two daughters. Mary worked for US Steel and Aramark, retiring in 2021. She loved reading books, especially Steven King and John Grisham. She was a die hard Cleveland Browns fan and also loved gardening and jigsaw puzzles.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Bernadette (John Palmisano) Indre, grandson, Nico; daughter, Mallory Indre; sister, Patty (Juan) Munoz; brothers, Timothy B. Johns and Mark (Pam) Johns; and loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years in 2019, Larry Indre; parents, Benny and Theresa Johns; stepmother, Beatrice "Honey" Johns; brother, Michael "Mickey" Johns; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Chuck and Jane Indre; and sister-in-law, Jackie Indre.
The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain (440) 244-1961 on Monday, December 11, 2023 from 4:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Fr.
