Martyn Lawrence Eskins Sr. Martyn Lawrence Eskins Sr., 85, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022 peacefully at his home in Burbank, OH. Marty was born on July 4, 1936 in Westlake, OH to his parents, Larry and Louise (nee Pallace) Eskins. Marty graduated from Westlake High School and enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and he was honorable discharged. He worked as an electrician for Ford, retiring in 1988. Marty enjoyed fishing, computers, playing frisbee, and spending time outdoors. He was known for his acceptance of all people, helping anyone in need, and the love he had for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years of marriage, Pauline (nee Mancuso) Eskins of Burbank, OH; children, Larry (Vicky) Eskins of Youngstown, OH, John Eskins of Elyria, OH, Martyn (Becky) Eskins of Burbank, OH and Dawn Marie (Demetrius) Hooks of Lorain, OH; sister, Gail Lipson of Melbourne, FL; 18 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Larry and Louise Eskins; sister, Barbara "Boots" (nee Eskins) DeWitt; daughters, Mary Louise Eskins, Patty Lynn Dunn, (in-law) Yolande Lynn Eskins; and granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Dunn. The family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, OH, (440) 244-1961 on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 1:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM, Pastor Troy Smith, officiating.
