John "Nick" C. Nickolette Obituary (1932

John "Nick" C. Nickolette, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Amherst Manor. Nick was born on October 29, 1932 to his loving parents, John and Julia (nee Dominico) Nickolette in Lorain, OH where he resided his entire life. He graduated from Lorain High School in 1952 A class and proudly served in the United States Navy from 1952-1954. He retired from Lake Terminal Railroad. Nick will be fondly remembered for his love of gardening. His pristine garden beds were truly a showcase. Nick enjoyed his retirement years spending most of his time with his loving companion Jeanette and looked forward to family get-togethers. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter Kay Dore; grandsons Nick and Phil Dore; great-grandson Kyle Dore; fiance of 23 years Jeanette Kosakowski. A graveside service with military honors will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023, 9:30 AM, at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 N Ridge Rd, Amherst, OH 44001. Please meet at the cemetery. Rev.
