Helen N. Caruso Obituary (1912

Lorain- Helen N. (nee: DeLuca)Caruso, 99, passed away on Friday, July 29, 2011 at Anchor Lodge in Lorain, OH. Helen was born on January 31, 1912 to her loving parents, Luigi and Maria (nee: Montasanti) DeLuca in Lorain, OH, where she was raised and resided. She attended Lorain High School and married Frank Caruso, raising two sons together. She was a member of St. Peter Church, Lorain Senior Citizens and A.A.R.P. She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Joyce-deceased) Caruso and Gerald (Maurita-deceased) Caruso; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luigi and Maria DeLuca; her husband of 55 years of marriage, Frank Caruso; and sisters,Christina Petro, Carmella Caserta, Susie Ermi, Jean Caruso, Molly Christini, Louise Dimachia and Emma D. Fox. The family will receive friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home, 2150 Broadway, Lorain, (440)244-1961 on Sunday, July 31, 2011 from 3-7 PM. Closing prayers will be held at the funeral home on Monday morning at 11:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, August 1, 2011 at St. Peter Church, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain, OH, Fr. Eric S. Orzech, Parochial Vicar, officiating.
