Gail (Biggs) St. Clair Obituary (1965

Gail St. Clair Gail (nee Biggs) St. Clair, a lifelong resident of Lorain, OH, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023, at the age of 58. Born on May 11, 1965, in the same city she cherished throughout her life, Gail's vivacious spirit and kind heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Gail graduated from Vermilion High School with the class of 1983, and soon after, she found her calling as a school bus driver, a role she devotedly fulfilled for 25 years. Her dedication to the safety and well-being of countless children on their journeys to and from school each day earned her the affection and respect of the entire community. Beyond her professional life, Gail was an active and beloved member of the Lorain Senior Center and a regular participant at the Lorain Senior Bingo. Her community involvement extended to the Moose Lodge #552, where she enjoyed the camaraderie and the shared mission of serving others. A passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Gail's enthusiasm for her team was contagious, and game days were always a lively event in her home. Her role as a mother was only surpassed by the joy she found in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Gail is survived by her daughters, Stacy (Josh-partner) St. Clair, Stephanie (Stephan) Keller, Jennifer (Steve) St. Clair-Jackson and Julie (Brandon) St. Clair; siblings, Elizabeth Stigall, Kenneth (Theresa) Shuey, Judy "Darlene" (Ron) Shrewsbury, Rusty (Christina) Shuey, and Michael (Jennifer) Shuey; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her beloved companion of 21 years, David Schumaker; mother, Judy Darlene (nee Dorman) Shuey; father, Carl Edward Biggs; and her beloved grandson, Jayden. Gail's family will receive family and friends at Reidy-Scanlan-Giovannazzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Albert Pride, officiating.
